This is a picture of my cousins.

I went to California for my family trip and saw my cousins Capri(four), Nyla(three), Tavita(zero), and my  favorite Coral(zero). I had a great time with them and these are the things we did: Beach, Disneyland (well I didn’t I was sick), a restaurant for my grandparents 40th anniversary, swimming and saw the new Star Wars Movie. The sad thing was I was sick for Christmas. I had a lot of fun at California. I an so happy to have great cousins. Guess what Tavita is walking and he’s not even one year old yet.

Annie Oakley is who inspires me she was my great person in second grade. Annie Oakley grew up in her family very poor and one day her dad reminded her that she can not touch his riffle above the fire place. When he left Annie took the riffle down started to try to shoot a can but she didn’t then she did she kept on trying and she finally got the hang of it. She kept on getting older and older she became a very good shooter. The next thing you know she is a sharp shooter. I know that if I follow my dreams I can be a great person.

I think the Safety Truck is the most important invention. Too often, people get in car accidents because of a large vehicle blocking their view. This is especially true in Argentina. The South American country is known for its windy, narrow roads. But Samsung and an advertising agency Leo Burnett have partnered to make a creative solution: the safety truck! This system sends video footage from the front of the truck to four screens on its back. It gives drivers a clear view of what is ahead. I think this is really important so that if the car behind them wants to pass they would know if it was safe to go. This will save a lot of lives! That is why I think the Safety Truck is the most important invention.

My perfect place would be Candy Land. In this land, the rivers would be made of chocolate. The bears, bunnies, and worms would be gummy bears, gummy bunnies, and gummy worms. The fish in the chocolate rivers would be Swedish Fish.  On the apple trees would grow caramel apples, and orange trees would have candied oranges growing on them. The trees would be huge lollipops in different colors. The clouds would be made of different flavors and colors of cotton candy. All of the buildings would be made of gingerbread and decorated with candies. Rocks would be made of jawbreakers. This would be a yummy place to live!

1. Be nice to my brother, even if he teases me.

2. Be a better friend by being nice and sharing.

3. Write more on blog posts.

4. Be nice every day by thinking about others and filling buckets.

5. Have a smile everywhere I go.

6. Listen to my parents by paying attention.

7. Remember to brush my teeth every morning and night.

8. Play with my sister when we both have free time.

9. Eat more veggies like carrots and broccoli.

10. Read 90 minutes a day.

Coral reefs are some of the most divers ecosystems in the world, housing tens of thousands of marine species. About one third of all fish species live part of their lives in coral reefs. Reefs in Florida keys for example, hold at least 45 species of stony coral, 37 species of octocoral, 5 species of sea turtles, 500 species omullusks and hundreds of species of sponges. In addition to their incredible value as wildlife habitat coral reefs protect coast lines from storms and provide billions of dollars of food and jobs every year to people around the world.

On December 31, 2015 my brother and I were having a great time. When my dad dropped off my sister at her dance my brother and I played. Soon after my mom and dad left for something when they got back it was 11:30 pm. We all went up stairs and watched the New York ball drop. We stayed up until midnight waiting for it to be 2016. But when it was my brother and I had to go to bed and then I stayed up till 1:00 am reading Charlie Bumpers from start to end.

I love being kind to people. I am excited to do a lot of kindness for the kindness chain but I think that being kind to my brother will be the hardest thing to do. One time I helped a homeless person. I went to my friends house and we made bags filled with: a first aid kit, socks, a hat, gloves and snacks. I gave it to them and they were very happy. I know that when I help people I also help myself because if I if I am feeling glum, I always feel happy after.

I am thankful for trees because if we didn’t have trees then we would not have oxygen or we would not have wood so we can build houses. I am also thankful for my family and friends not just because they take care of us and love us but they also look out for you so if you go to the same school and you are being bullied they will stand up to that bully and say knock it off.
